Indoor Air Quality Services
The staff of McCabe Environmental has been performing indoor air quality (IAQ) testing for over 30 years. With our highly trained personnel and state-of-the-art equipment, we are capable of providing our clients with programs designed specifically for their air quality needs. Our experience performing IAQ surveys has been in various settings ranging from 50 story high-rise buildings to universities, hospitals, schools, child care facilities, industrial sites and private residences. Our objective is to provide our clients with a program that is designed specifically to meet their needs, as well as providing our services in the most cost-effective manner.
The quality of the indoor environment, and how it may change throughout the day, can be a matter of concern to building owners and managers, as well as their occupants. Acceptable indoor air quality is considered essential in maintaining building occupant performance, safety and comfort. When indoor air quality becomes an issue or concern, a thorough site investigation should be conducted in order to identify and resolve the problem. A Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP) may be recommended by the EPA and State health officials in order to prevent IAQ problems before they begin.

We provide on-site testing and inspection services with direct reading and targeted instrumentation. The semi-annual and quarterly surveys we provide can also include drinking water sampling for analysis for lead, copper, and iron; air sampling for asbestos, silica and other fibers; and surface and air sampling and analysis for the identification of numerous unknown contaminants. Whatever the issue may be, we can incorporate any sampling methodology to identify the problem and determine the appropriate solution.
